The second print issue is out and the first edition of Manifest is here…Connecting the dots

This year is special from a professional reputation stand-point. Five properties are being built of which two are already up and running. The Reputation Today portal, magazine and conclave took shape in the first quarter of 2016. Later this week Manifest – the Founders Summit will see the light of day after months of planning. Later in the year the Knowledge Factory will come alive. While these may seem like run of the mill events, in actuality they are platforms with a purpose and they all are satellites around a planet.

The planet is the school of communications and reputation. These platforms both support the school and take support from the school. They help the school get ready access to professionals and they help the students in getting ready made platforms to work on. They feed from each other and create a smart ecosystem that can at the same time be independent as well as inter dependent. They link with my FCUK mantra of Focus, Commitment, Understanding and Knowledge. They are strategically created to enable learning and networking.

PRAXIS which is the oldest and strongest of them all will remain the event property closest to the school with a Focus on communications. Manifest will help bring leaders from various walks of life who can give the students a unique exposure to multiple verticals where they can find a deep understanding of businesses they will work for in the future. Knowledge Factory will create a love for knowledge and insights which shall always remain the strength of a solid communications professional. Another event property which is in the works will offer Commitment as a takeaway to all who attend including the students.

This column is dedicated to explaining the linkage between the various offerings of The PRomise Foundation so those who sometimes wonder what’s going on can get the drift in few minutes of reading. As I write this piece the second issue of Reputation Today is out from the press and will reach the who’s Who of consultancy and in-house communications. This issue is focused on CSR – an area that is waiting to be tapped in a big way by Public Relations firms in India. Hope you enjoy reading! If you do not get your own copy in print, the e-copy will be uploaded on the portal. If you want to get your own copy in print, please write to roshan@promisefoundation.com.

Well, all energy this week will be focused on Manifest and you will read highlights of this unique initiative in my column next week. Thanks for taking time out to read this column week after week. Your feedback is certainly awaited. Till then!
