We are gearing towards the 13th edition of the PRAXIS India Weekend. It promises to be a memorable experience for over 550 professionals who will gather for the first time in the state of Kerala. The Grand Hyatt Bolgatty Kochi is a venue like no other. Seeing is believing. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, the hotel offers majestic conferencing facilities.
While 30+ partners have supported the summit and 25+ speakers will take the stage – almost all for the first time, a lot is happening behind the scenes to ensure that the theme – ‘Public Relations as a Force for Good’ comes alive.
An event of this magnitude sees the light of day because of a powerful combination of speakers, participants and partners. The unique summit is built on the philosophy that it belongs as much to every stakeholder as it does to the organisers. The core team has always stated that it is merely a custodian of the summit and not the owner. This has helped strengthen the ethos of the summit over the years. This is probably the only PR conference in the world that is not organised by a trade association or media outlet but by a group of volunteers who come together annually to bring the experience to life.
This year there is a new brand identity system – The X Factor – created by Lopez Design in order to enable PRAXIS to go international. Each geography will have its own colour scheme. Over the next 12 months the summit will take place as a day-long event in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo and Nairobi, if all plans fall in place.
