The Genuine Positive Mindset

POSTED BY: Amitesh Banerjee 07 September 2026

“Embrace the transformative strength of positive thinking to shape your outlook on life and propel you towards success. Your mindset is like a powerful magnet, attracting opportunities and shaping your reality. By focusing on the positive, you cultivate resilience and inner strength. You become the architect of your own happiness, designing a life filled with gratitude, hope, and optimism” (Author- Mathew Zimm.)

In today’s current world where pretence and transactional is the attitude in general, real and genuine has become a key differentiator. Real because otherwise positive mindsets can be as misleading as blind optimism. When you cultivate a real and positive mindset, the world literally becomes your oyster, the impossible becomes possible. Positive Mindset, packed by genuine best in class logical and authentic efforts, gives progress a turbo boost and you stay right ahead of everyone else and remain there.

Here are some easy steps to moult into the Genuine Positive Mindset.

Weed out the high negative

“As blind positivity, is a fallacy and creates bottomless pits of failure, high negativity creates illusionary obstacle mirages in your progress journey. The essence of a positivity is finding opportunity in any situation. Many go into rooms of high negativity and find no doors, windows or even balconies to come out. But positivity seekers, find their way out of the door of the room itself which was left unlocked!” (Author)

Be completely purpose driven and do an anticipatory SWOT before you define your purposes and their road maps. Yes, there will always be contingencies and unanticipated chaos. No human being can predict the future. Don’t look at these as negatives, just covert them into threats. And overcome them. High negativity is like a virus. It just blinds your vision, and you cannot see what you should be able to see.

Gratitude awakens our positivity

“Gratitude isn’t just about the past or the present. It shapes how you imagine the future. People who feel grateful tend to be more hopeful. More resilient. More optimistic about what’s ahead—even when facing uncertainty. This isn’t blind optimism. It’s grounded trust. Gratitude trains the brain to expect goodness. To anticipate beauty. To notice opportunity.

It makes you brave enough to try again. To believe again. To dream again. And that changes everything” (Author- Muhammed Tuhin)

When you notice the right positive things around you it gives fillip to your positive mindset. Just do this small exercise which will make you realize the depth of gratitude. List out all the blessings you have. Your success, milestones of recognition and your individual contributions of excellence. We usually get so clouded by what did not come to us that we constantly ignore what we have and what comes to us.

Its simple. Gratitude leads to humility and then you keep achieving better than you ever did.

The mind is the temple of the body

“You may have noticed you’re irritable when you don’t sleep enough or that your focus is strained when you don’t eat well. Try to establish healthy habits as the basis for consistent, positive self-care. Get restful sleep eat nutritious meals, and hydrate well. You’ll help ensure your body and mind have the resources to withstand challenges and process negative emotions well. Spending time with positively minded people can prevent you from slipping into negative thought patterns by encouraging you and creating an infectiously positive atmosphere.” (Author- Elizabeth Perry)

A healthy body houses a healthy mind. It’s a 360-degree approach to keeping well and therefore fit and in your best state of mind. Reflect back on the times when you faced challenges or a crisis. Your mind trips, harmful hormones flood your veins, and you just cannot think straight. Work life balance, enjoyment and happiness are not luxuries any more. Without these, in the stressful world of today, you will tend to falter. Both your mental and physical health suffer.

Being the state of wellness is a must to successfully practice The Genuine Positive, Mindset.

“There is too much negativity in the world. Do your best to make sure you aren’t contributing to it.”
