The recent years have seen several Public Relations firms mushroom. Many are media relations shops and several offer strategic communications counsel in addition. Most offer clients a bang for the buck and at times give bigger, more established firms a run for their money. Some are set-up by rookie youngsters who know a thing or two about business and several are founded by veteran professionals. We constantly hear about the well-established firms which are around 25 in number and make an annual revenue of $3 million or INR 20 crore (INR 200 million). The content team at Reputation Today felt the need to highlight the next 50 firms. Most of them are start-ups (less than 7 years), the annual billings range from $20,000 to $2 million (INR 14 lakh to INR 14 crore). The average being INR 1.4 crore per annum or INR 12 lakh per month.
We decided to list these firms and they numbered close to 100. We reached out to the founders for information and closer to 50 responded. We have compiled these in alphabetical order. We believe many of these firms will break into the Top 25 in the next five years. As the only Indian print magazine and portal dedicated to the art and science of Public Relations, we take pride in this special list. We would love to hear from you. In case you would like to feature in the list next year write to us with The Next 50 aspirant in the subject line. Send us your thoughts at editor at reputationtoday dot in.
