Conclaves on Innovation and Influence this Spring-Summer in Gurgaon and Mumbai

For the past three years, a two-city conclave has been organised in the key metros, skipping the metro closest to the PRAXIS venue of that year. Having started in 2015 in Mumbai the conclave has seen five editions already. This year there will be one each in Gurgaon and Mumbai. Since PRAXIS will take place down south in Hyderabad, Bangalore will not witness the conclave. However, the conclave will be different from those that have been organised previously. To start with, Reputation Today has partnered with the youngest ‘Big’ PR firm in the country. Second, it will be exclusively for in-house communicators and third, it will coincide with the first of its kind annual outlook to be presented on Innovation in Communications.

The Innovation First Communication Conclave will be held in Gurgaon on Wednesday, 14th March 2018 and is co-presented by Reputation Today and First Partners. The Conclave will witness an opening keynote by Vishal Wanchoo, the President and CEO of GE South Asia who will talk about Creating a Culture of Innovation. This will be followed by two power panels comprising half a dozen senior communicators discussing two distinct topics – Does innovation in business have a connection with Innovation in Communication which will be moderated by Arun Sudhaman and Why innovation in business and communication is key to win in a complex market like India which will be moderated by Pranjal Sharma. Senior marketer Vijay Menon – author of Innovation Stories from India Inc will deliver a special address. Post-lunch there will be a round-table on Moving Innovation in Communication from Concept to Practice with corporate communication leaders participating.

The communication leaders on the two panels include:

Ashmita Sethi (Boeing India), Ishteyaque Amjad (Coca Cola India), Madhavi Jha (Honeywell India), Meenu Handa (Google India), Minari Shah (Amazon India) and Paroma Roy Chowdhary (Softbank);

Arun Arora (Cairn India), Jyotsna Ghoshal (MSD India), Nazeeb Arif (ITC), Senjam Raj Sekhar (Flipkart), Subhayu Mishra (Standard Chartered) and Sujit Patil (Godrej Industries).

The conclave will have over 100 attendees. It has been jointly curated by Reputation Today and First Partners and is open to all corporate communication professionals by prior registration. Vodafone India, IFFCO and Carma International will support the conclave.

Everyone from in-house communication departments should certainly attend the conclave to learn more about creating Innovation in Communication and learning from each other. Those who travel from outside NCR for the Conclave can either attend for free or register at a 50% discount which works out to Rs 3000/- and request for a Rs 5000 voucher to register online for PRAXIS 2018. On similar lines, as per the regular format, the Influence Now Communication Conclave will be held on May 30th in Mumbai in collaboration with Godrej.
